The journey by Dr. Pratabidya Parida as a medico began after clearing AIPMT entrance exam in 2007 with All India rank 729. He pursued his MBBS in T.N. Medical College and Nair Ch Hospital in Mumbai, India, one of the prestigious institutes in the country. He completed the rotatory internship in various high volume hospitals in Mumbai in 2013. After that he was selected as a trainee in Dept of Medical Oncology at Nair Hospital for 1 year. He cleared the MAHARASHTRA CET RANK 276 and AI NEET PG RANK 3000 in 2014. He then pursued his training in BOMBAY HOSPITAL INST. OF MEDICAL SCIENCES. He completed his M.S in GENERAL SURGERY in 2017. He worked as a CLINICAL ASSOCIATE in S.L. RAHEJA HOSPITAL, FORTIS ASSOCIATE in Department of ONCOSURGERY and in HINDUJA HEALTHCARE SURGICAL in Dept. of laparoscopic surgery. He is a member of ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS OF ENGLAND, LONDON. Being an M.R.C.S gives him a lifetime membership and fantastic opportunity to be continuously updated in latest surgical standards and improvise surgical care.

He is currently the Head of Laser & Laparoscopy Surgery unit of Lapgicare Super-Specialty Proctology Hospital for Advanced Piles & Anal Fistula Treatment in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He is presently the leading Proctologist in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
